I’m a layabout aspiring writer and talking head in Brooklyn, NY.

I call myself a Brooklyn Copperhead because I am provincial to New York and Brooklyn in particular in the tradition of those who fought for a free New York in the War Between The States. I also seize on the label Copperhead more broadly to refer to all those in American history of whom the great William Appleman Williams was speaking when he said “Let us speak now of those who lost”.
